Accessible Audio Final Project

Image
Accessible media means, to me, that the video is available to both the hearing impaired and the visually impaired. Of course not all of us have full ability in both, including myself, so it is nice when a video can be "accessible" for both impairments. The first video posted is the video portion only of my project where you can see but not hear it. The second video is the audio part of the project where you can only hear it, not see it. The last video is a combination of both, where you get the full experience of listening and seeing.

Commercial Accessibility

Communicating With The Hearing Impaired Well This commercial has about 5 words said throughout the entire video, the message isn't spread through the words nor the music. The story was all visual which helps the hearing impaired. Also at the end, it said in text, exactly what they were trying to demonstrate in the commercial. Improving For The Hearing Impaired One thing that this commercial can improve on possibly is eliminating those very few words altogether, or using subtitles for them. The music was just for the enhancement of the commercial so I don't think that was an issue. However, they could have given the song title and artist information in the beginning to show that there is music playing. Communicating With The Visually Impaired Well There is not much that this commercial did to help out the visually impaired. But one thing is the sound effects of taking pictures. It was clear that they are snapping pictures and also cutting hair. But overall, the ...

Audio Effects

I combined all 3 of my effects into one file. My sill image project was the promotion for the club baseball team here at HPU. The first effect is a baseball bat hitting a baseball. I left the wind in the audio as it gave a more real life feel to it. The second effect was crowd noise as every baseball game has fans cheering you on or just making noise in general. My third effect had nothing to do with my still image video. Although it may be difficult to hear, it is very unique and sounds like air coming out of a valve or something. This could possibly be used in a video where something has gone wrong with a leakage of air.

Still Image Project

This video is all about why you should join the Club Baseball team here at High Point University. While using Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere, I have created this video to hopefully gain some interest in playing. As the president of the club, it is a part of my responsibility to recruit new members and this is one way to do that. This video gives you an inside look at how we balance competition and great fun.

Audition Effects

Audio Effects on Audition For my still image video project I am trying to make a promotional video for Club Baseball so I want to try to make it loud and and exciting with good audio effects like announcers do as well as videos on TV that promote professional sports teams. So the first effect I'm going to use is the "far away" effect that gives the audio a loud echoing effect. I'll try to use this in parts of the video I feel are the more exciting parts.  The second effect I'll try to use is the "walkie talkie" effect because it makes it sound like the audio is coming from a radio/walkie talkie which I think sounds cool for the build up to something exciting, maybe also adding an echo effect to that part as well will sound cool. Lastly, I'll use the effect "Broadcast" for the main portion of the video for the informational parts and transitions from picture to picture because this effect makes the audio clear and loud which is go...
